LEADERSHIP QUOTE OF THE DAY (24 May 2012): Life is change. Growth is optional. Choose wisely. - Karen Kaiser Clark
WOMEN
WOMEN: Toni Marsh
We last caught up with you in May 2005 – How have things changed for you since then?
I’ve gained a few more ounces of wisdom. I’ve gone from blonde to brunette to carrying shades of in between. I’ve moved from reading the news at “The Edge”…to reading sports and weather at “Radio Live” (still at the god awful time of 5:50 am). I’ve met a fabulous man who keeps me sane. I’ve put a few more rays of sunshine into those skies; along with a few more drops of rain…it’s all about balance.
What do you think it is about you that inspired our readers to vote you New Zealand’s best woman?
What an honour…I must say, I was pretty blown away. Considering what you see is what you get on the telly. To win this award is the ultimate compliment. Thanks to all the readers of M2.
What have you learnt about men?
Men are all pretty much similar creatures, like a magnum ice-cream really – you look smooth and cool on the outside…but the best is on the inside…all sweetness, substance and satisfaction…and you always leave us women wanting more.
Some questions from the M2 Best awards…
