Some guys are always searching online.

The Digital Anatomy of the bloke who likes to shop from iprospect.com describes who the male shopper and what he searches for.

There are 19 million so called 'affluent males' on the Interent and they are shopping online and spending more than ever before.  Forty percent of them are shopping online 2x a week or more and spending over $30k annually according to the US survey.

If you work on a luxury brand, or a brand that relies heavily on e-commerce, then this profile of the affluent male is revealing.

58% of males purchase online at least two times per month and spends between $500 and $4000 a year.

Approximately 70 percent of affluent male consumers prefer to research and buy on tablets, mobile and computers, opening a door for luxury marketers to take advantage of this growing demographic, according to research from iProspect and comScore.

As opposed to researching online and buying in-store, affluent males prefer to do everything behind a comforting technological wall. Most of the purchase is on computers, but as this population becomes more comfortable with mobile and tablet, transactions on these mediums are expected to skyrocket.
