Stationery Success

Sam Thom has a passion for stationery and journaling.

Sitting down at the end of the day and writing about the day’s events and memories has become part of his daily routine. Just like a photo captures a moment in time visually, you have the ability to retain the thoughts, feelings and ideas of a time and place in your life.

It was always been a dream to start and run his own business but in June of 2010, after a year studying and at the age of 22, Sam decided to put Uni to one side and in good Kiwi fashion figured it was time to give his stationery idea a go.

He’d made up his mind that creating his brand of stationery was exactly what he wanted to do and pursued his desire with all the youthful passion and energy he could muster.

"Simple in design and full of joy was just the feel that we were after. The burst of colour on the inside covers give the range a sense of personality and fun. Arriving in various sizes, there is always the perfect journal that will let you capture every idea, thought, word and design".

Working from his father's office Sam is thrilled to have created a Kiwi brand made in New Zealand that uses environmentally friendly materials.

Sam reckons "It is my hope that Note To Self will bring to life the writer, artist, designer and poet within".
