Rocket Man versus Canyon

Powered by a hydrogen-peroxide jet pack, Eric Scott earlier this month, travelled 460 metres across the Royal Gorge near Canon City in the United States.

A feat made all the more impressive when considering that the Royal Gorge, cut by the Arkansas River in Southern Colorado, is more than 335 metres deep and that the journey was made without a parachute.

Scott is an employee of Denver-based Jet P.I., which developed the jet pack for stunts, promotions and other events around the world for Go Fast Sports & Beverage.
