NZ CannonBall Run
It's that time of the year again! The Infamous NZ CannonBall Run is back. Auckland Motorsport has been blowing people away with their events for years now and this year's CannonBall Run on January the 7th is going to be epic. With a collection of the best cars in New Zealand, crazy missions and awesome entertainment value its not to be missed.
The one thing you'll notice when looking through the amazing photos and videos of past events is that it's a really user friendly event, the competitors range in age from 5 to 50 (with the occasional new born and 80 year old turning up). Parents bringing their kids along (and vice versa).... The event just seems to tick all the boxes and is great entertainment value whether you like cars or not, it's an adventure and people love it.
This year’s CannonBall Run is looking to be even more impressive and the event tickets are selling fast..... Starting from a secret Auckland location where they get their “Top Secret” mission pack and doing around 300k's worth of driving over an action packed 12 hours stopping at Hampton Downs at lunch for some fun and finishing up at another secret location for the after party, you can't complain about what great value for money this event is.
As per usual there will be lots of cars, around 200 ( some of them the best in the country) and competitors dressed up in theme (Its Heroes and Villains this year) trying to take home the second best prize “Best Theme Car & Team Award” and everyone will be gunning for the big one “King of CannonBall Award” which is a points based prize so if your committed enough you just might win big, real big. ...... you’ll also have bragging rights for the whole year and to some, that's worth more.
With awesome prizes up for grabs and big entertainment planned it’s the best $125 you can spend over the Christmas period.
