Mysterious Forces: Achievement from Within

One particular habit that many business owners have is to “play below the radar”– keeping our goals and ambitions to ourselves. Maybe we don’t want to look cocky or overly ambitious or fear that friends and colleagues will judge us? Perhaps we don’t want to let others know what our goals are in case we fail to reach them. Either way, the result of this habit is that often, we don’t achieve the levels of success we truly desire.
Habits can only be changed by taking new actions – not just thinking about them. To begin breaking this habit, try the following:

1.    Write your goals down. Think big – don’t settle for mediocrity when you know you’re capable of greatness.

2.    Share your goals with at least ten others. Let everyone know what you’re aiming for – and enlist their support.

3.    Review your goals regularly – first thing every morning is a good time.

4.        Do one thing every day, however small that one thing is. That will move you towards your goals.

This will begin to establish new programmes in your brain. So choose new programming this year, start playing above the radar. Set big goals and tell the world. Make 2008 the year where you start using the mysterious forces to your advantage and achieve more of your wildest dreams.
