LEADERSHIP QUOTE OF THE DAY (23 May 2012): You gain STRENGTH| COURAGE AND CONFIDENCE by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You must do the thing you think you cannot do. - Eleanor Roosevelt
JOKES
JOKE: The Cheque's in the Mail
A post office worker at the main sorting office finds an unstamped, hand-written envelope addressed to God. He opens it and discovers it is from an elderly lady, distressed because she is having trouble paying $500 for her heating and other bills. She will be cold and hungry for the rest of the month if she doesn't receive some divine intervention.
The worker organises a collection amongst the other postal workers, who dig deep and come up with $450. They get it to her by special courier the same morning.
A week later, the same postal worker recognises the same hand writing on another envelope. He opens it and reads: "Dear God, Thank you for your wonderful donation. This month would have been so bleak otherwise. P.S. It was $50 short but that was probably those thieving bastards at the post office."
