So, when you will undergo a detox programme, be sure to do it only for a short period of time in order for a person to be healthy. Detoxification over a long period of time may cause possible calcium deficiency because calcium was also being flushed out from the body when on detox diet. Fragile teeth and osteoporosis are examples of calcium deficiency illnesses.
Nevertheless, it is a fact that detox diet will make you lose weight and cleanse your body. This is because all major food groups are being rejected in this programme. Just take precautionary measures.
