This unusual wall storage is called Imeüble. It was designed by Bjørn Jørund Blikstad, a newly educated furniture designer with a masters degree from Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
Blikstad has been working with the concept of storage by “looking at it, not as a practical issue involving the storage of known objects, but in sync with our memory; comparing the mental storage capacity with the actual.”
This trippy storage shelf, resembling some sort of interior optical illusion, adds a whole new dimension to any room of your home. Featuring a cacophony of colors and multiple layers of ample shelving, stare at it long enough and your eyes start playing tricks on you. I swear I heard it say, "take me to your leader."
