These models provide a range of fantastic features including the latest innovation in GPS technology, Real View Advanced Lane Guidance on the nüvi 1390. This feature accurately depicts the surrounding environment by providing a true-to-life life representation of the scene a driver would see on approaching selected intersections and provides visual guidance.
This guidance can be which lane, side of road, slip way or branch the driver should steer down to follow the specified route.
Other highlights of the new range include an ultra-slim design , dual mapping of both New Zealand and Australia as standard, an easy to use interface which requires fewer touches of the screen, ecoRoute and spoken street names on all models. Garmin ecoRoute suggests fuel-efficient routes to help save drivers money and fuel.
Selected models come with lane assist which uses arrows to highlight which lane a driver needs to be in while navigating and Bluetooth wireless technology which enables hands-free calling and Points of Interest dialing with a compatible mobile phone.
