Money has become the newest diet craze. Companies have started dangling financial carrots to employees who shed those excessive kilos. A few years ago gift cards and free cruises were part of the prize for obese workers. Now an independent website HealthyWage.com is enhancing your diet success with cash rewards, fun contests, wellness tools and a support network.

It's just like Biggest Loser, but everyone who loses the weight gets paid! 

Since the site launched last year, 5,000 hopefuls have signed up for the site. Obese users who during a specified time period move from an unhealthy to a healthy body mass index (BMI). The final deadline to enter the next 12-month challenge — and win $100, is Jan 20th. Or clients can "super-size" their weight-loss incentives by putting as much as $300 of their own money on the line to up the stakes to $1,000.

HealthyWage, which makes money through advertising and sponsorships, is also confident that it can dramatically help the health care system by reducing obesity related costs to the tune of around $2000 per person.

Maybe another website could incentivise clients for maintaining the weight loss.
