Ahipara
Ahipara is at the southern end of 90 Mile Beach, 14 kms west of Kaitaia, and is renowned for spectacular sunsets and great surf.
Cape Reinga
The historic Cape Reinga lighthouse marks the extreme north-western point of New Zealand. There are spectacular views of the ocean where the Tasman and the Pacific meet - sometimes producing waves more than 10 metres high.
