Escape to one of New Zealand's most stunning spots!

Rock the Boat overnight cruise
This is the ultimate way to experience all the best things the Bay of Islands has to offer. $178 gets you 22hrs of cruising, exploring and relaxing onboard New Zealand’s biggest house boat. Enjoy target shooting, dusk fishing, night kayaking, island walks, swimming, kayaking, snorkeling and the opportunity to spot dolphins and whales. You’ll meet travellers young and old and enjoy story-telling and delicious food onboard.

Dolphin Discovery
Dolphin Discoveries will take you out on a purpose-built catamaran where you will get the chance to see whales, fish, sea birds, penguins and other wildlife, as well as the opportunity to swim up close with dolphins. A must-do for every Kiwi.

Northland Food and Wine tour
The Northland Wine & Food Trail features more than 70 stops from kumara farm tours and artisan growers to chocolate factories, winery restaurants and farmer’s markets. Not to be missed is the countries largest farmer’s market, at Kerikeri – held every Saturday, it features fresh regional vegetables and gourmet goods. If you have a sweet tooth you can’t miss Kerikeri's Makana Confections, where you can buy and taste hand-made chocolate and confectionary.

Scenic highlights

Ahipara
Ahipara is at the southern end of 90 Mile Beach, 14 kms west of Kaitaia, and is renowned for spectacular sunsets and great surf.

Cape Reinga
The historic Cape Reinga lighthouse marks the extreme north-western point of New Zealand. There are spectacular views of the ocean where the Tasman and the Pacific meet - sometimes producing waves more than 10 metres high.

Doubtless Bay
The Karikari Peninsula and Doubtless Bay have several seaside townships and an abundance of beautiful, safe beaches - each beach is unique, ranging from rugged and rocky to sheltered, white sand bays.
