Bugatti: The Fastest

World’s Fastest Car

How do you make the fastest road car in the world?
You just take a couple of V8s and make them into a W16 that outputs 1000 HP, you spend countless hours in a wind tunnel doing endless aerodynamic modeling. You see, when your goal is to make a car that will do 400 kilometres per hour you’re going to have a few aerodynamic challenges to overcome. Failure to do that means you’ve just built one of the world’s least successful and rare planes. The Bugatti Veyron is undoubtedly the fastest road car the world has ever seen.

The top speed of 252 MPH is almost as fast as a Hawker Hurricane fighter was flying during the Battle of Britain. That’s all a bit frightening really. The price tag is even more frightening at around 2.5 million dollars. It just goes to show that it’s not cheap being the best of the best.
