Defy the recession, do up the house!
Pots of colour and lashings of inspiration at the Autumn Home Show 2009 with a theme of "defying the recession," this year’s Autumn Home Show, Friday 27th to Sunday 29th of March 2009, will see the Auckland ASB Showgrounds transformed into a Mecca of inspiration and home improvement for homemakers of all ages.
Whether you’re into DIY, property investment, interior design or quiltmaking, you’ll find a product for every need and a solution to every problem, with exhibits focusing on interior design, home heating, colour and comfort, whilst educating visitors on how to maximise property investment or to help turn renovation ideas into detailed project plans.
There are six key features this year as well as a host of other attractions, including for the first time at the Autumn Home Show the extreme makeover of a property and "must sell" live auction. Get inspiration, ideas and you could even walk away with a house!
Keep up with the Joneses at the Property Know-How Series
If you have a keen interest in preserving or maximising the value of your property, these 20 to 30-minute sessions as part of the Property Know-How series are a must-see – from buying and selling, organising finance, gaining information and ideas on products and services through to renovation and redecorating projects. The teams presenting the seminars are highly-regarded, and will discuss the critical factors home owners and investors should be aware of in 2009.
Witness an Extreme Home Makeover and Live "Must Sell" Auction
For the first time ever, the Autumn Home Show will be the venue for a residential property auction to take place at the Property Know-How theatre at 2pm on Sunday afternoon. In a dramatic demonstration of their expert knowledge, The Property Know-How team have taken a previously un-sellable house and dramatically improved it for auction. They’ll prove how achievable home improvement can be even on a small budget and this house must sell to a bidder at the show!
