Absolut Mode Edition

The latest innovation, Absolut Mode Edition is the new limited edition 700ml gift pack that is a redesign of the iconic Absolut Vodka bottle. It reflects the world of fashion, with the use of stylised crystallic glass and a midnight blue textured silk cloth feature.

Not only is it fashionable in aesthetic, but also in name, with the Swedish translation of ‘MODE’ meaning ‘fashion’ in the homeland of Absolut – Sweden.

“Ever since it was first bottled 30 years ago, Absolut has been driven by creativity, and this stylish limited edition builds on Absolut’s history of groundbreaking bottle and packaging design,” says Luan Howitt, Absolut marketing manager – New Zealand. “Absolut Mode Edition is a fashion forward release, which is sure to become a true collector’s item.”

During the early 1990s, Absolut worked with several of the most successful fashion designers such as Tom Ford and Versace. Since then, fashion has been one of the creative expressions that Absolut has successfully explored. Collaborative partners include Stella McCartney, Gaultier and locally, leading New Zealand fashion label Huffer.

To celebrate the launch of Absolut Mode Edition, leading New Zealand mixologist Chris Harrop has created the Absolut Mode cocktail.

Absolut Mode
45ml Absolut Vodka
20ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
10ml elderflower cordial
Top with soda
Build ingredients over ice in a tall glass, and garnish with a thin cucumber slice.

Absolut Mode Edition 700ml gift pack is available in New Zealand from mid November (RRP $39.99).
