If you are really committed to change your body and you want to build your muscles properly, you have surely heard and read lots of different ways to achieve your goal. Despite that, only some of them may have given you real results.

In order not to feel frustrated with your lack of progress, you must modify your methods and techniques. If you follow these four simple steps, you will learn how to build muscles safely and effectively. In addition, these steps do not include any supplements. They only consist in successful training and in healthy eating. Simple, really.

Step No 1

Self-discipline. You need to work your muscles with resistance to grow them. Once you have returned home from the gym, let your muscles cure through a healthy diet and rest. The ideal amount of visits to the gym is once every 72 hours.

After obtaining your ideal body, you must train consistently on the bodybuilding programme you have prepared. Plan long-term too. Increase the intensity of each exercise to get more efficancy and better results. For instance, try more reps or shorter breaks between sets.

Step No 2

Eat at least five or seven times per day. Consume well-balanced food with carbohydrates (45 percent), proteins (35 percent) and fats (20 percent). Remember that 50 percent of this food should be solid and the rest, liquid meals (i.e., meal replacement shakes). Eat for success. If your body is healthy, you will obtain good results faster.

Step No 3

Stretching is as important as lifting weights. Stretching helps to repair the normal length of muscle tissues. You must neutralise the shortening of muscle tissues that happens during training.
